2004

The Compliance Certificate with the requirements of GOST P ISO 9001-2001 which covers production and sales of bentonite clay and bentonite-based powders has been obtained

In October production lines of bentonite powders and cat litter were commissioned at JSC Glinopererabotka plant (Bryansk)

In September a production line of bentonite powder was commissioned at JSC Bentonite plant (Kurgan region)

“Leading” project start up including sales and promotion of clumping bentonite cat litter

2005

The company launched a production line of cat litter at LLC Argillit (Republic of Khakassia)

Increase of production capacity for bentonite powder at JSC Bentonite plant (Kurgan region)

2006

The company LLC Argillit started its activity after the merger of LLC Argillit and LLC Abakan-Bentonite

Increase of production capacity for soda ash activation of bentonite at JSC Bentonite plant (Kurgan region)

In December a 59 % stake in JSC Ilsky zavod Utyazhelitel - NPO Bureniye (JSC IZU) (the Krasnodar Territory) was acquired

In January LLC Leading was formed

The company entered into a joint venture agreement and formed LLC AzRosPromInvest (LLC AZRPI)

2007

The Compliance Certificate with the requirements of QMS and of standard GOST R ISO 9001-2001 has been obtained

In December the construction of a new plant in Vvedenskoye village (Kurgan region) started

In November the company started to process bentonite raw material from Dash-Salakhlinsky and Zyryansky mines at JSC IZU plant (the Krasnodar Territory)

2008

In July the company launched facilities of bentonite powders production at Vvedenskoye (Kurgan region) plant

The company launched a production line of bentonite powder at AZRPI plant (Azerbaijan)

The company launched a soda ash activation line at AZRPI plant (Azerbaijan)

2009

For 10 years LLC Argillit maintains its market leadership in iron ore pelletizing sector

Regular export of bentonite powder to foundries of Russia and Belarus from "AZRPI" plant (Azerbaijan) started

2010

The Compliance Certificate with the requirements of QMS and of standard GOST R ISO 9001-2001 for LLC Argillit has been obtained

Stable supplies of bentonite products to Russian iron ore pelletizing plants at the volume of 50K tons from AZRPI plant (Azerbaijan) started

JSC Bentonite plant (Kurgan region) launched a production line of bentonite products for HDD and bentonite pellets.

Reconstruction of JSC IZU plant (the Krasnodar Territory) was completed; the production of construction materials, such as dry building mixes and feed supplements - lime and mineral powders started

2011

Bentonite powder production facilities of JSC Bentonite plant (Kurgan region) have been upgraded New production line allowed to improve production quality; its productivity has been also significantly increased

2012

JSC Bentonite launched a production line of granular bentonite for GCL production. LLC BentIzol (Kurgan region) for GCL production was formed. The construction of GCL production plant started.

Start of supplying bentonite powder for the construction of Moscow Metro.

LLC Biorost (Moscow) for animal feed supplements production was formed

A unique formulation of bentonite powder for the South Stream project was developed

The volume of shipped products from AZRPI plant (Azerbaijan) for the year exceeded 100K tons

2013

Installation of GCL production line and commissioning works were carried out at JSC BentIzol plant (Kurgan region)

A trial batch of GCL was shipped to JSC Surgutneftegaz

2014

Bentonit Company Ltd. acquired the controlling stake in JSC Khakassky Bentonite.

JSC Bentonite became the first and only company in Russia which was certified by the American Petroleum Institute and was licensed to use API monogram on its products.

The two companies LLC Argillit and JSC Hakassky Bentonite merged and formed a company Bentonite Khakasia Ltd.

Official launch of JSC BentIzol plant, start of regular supplies of GCL.

2015

LLC BentIzol plant launched the production of new GCL brand “MASTERBENT”

LLC BentIzol is certified by the Research institute of construction of Poland (Instytut Techniki Budowlanej) Commission and obtained a CE Certificate of Compliance

2016

JSC Bentonite is reorganized into Kurgan Bentonite Limited

In December the Compliance Certificate with the requirements of QMS and of standard GOST R ISO 9001-2015 (ISO 9001:2015) for Kurgan Bentonite Limited has been obtained

In October Bentonite Khakasia Ltd became the second company in Russia which was certified by the American Petroleum Institute (Q1 Specification)

2017

A stake in LLP Altajskie Mineraly (the Republic of Kazakhstan) was acquired Acquisition of the mining license for the development of Tagansky bentonite deposit and start of geological exploration works on detailed studying of the deposit (the Republic of Kazakhstan).

LLC StroyGidroizolyatsiya was formed - a JV for construction works related to the waterproofing.

Bentonite Khakasia Ltd has launched Cat litter production

Bentonite Khakasia Ltd obtained the license for the development of Karasuksky bentonite deposit for 25 years.
