OCMA bentonite powder is used to prepare drilling fluids complying with international quality standard ISO 13500.<\/p>\n\n

OCMA bentonite specific surface is so large that microflakes contained in 1 kg of the product can cover about 70 football fields.<\/p>\n\n

SPECIAL APPLICATION BENTONITE PBMA-EXTRA AND PBM-ETALON<\/h2>\n\n

Advantages: used for preparing drilling fluid based on mineralized (including sea) and salt-saturated process water, does not require special water treatment.<\/p>\n\n

PBMA-EXTRA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      When using special bentonites, preparation of drilling fluid does not require water treatment (to soften the water).<\/p>\n\n

      PBMA-EXTRA and PBM-ETALON are successfully used both in oil and gas drilling, and also in construction. The key factor is the possibility of using bentonite at a reduced suspension concentration of 2\u20133%! When drilling engineering wells using the HDD method and performing other construction work, the use of bentonites of PBMA-EXTRA and PBM-ETALON brands allows replacing expensive mixtures and preserve the quality of the work performed. <\/p>\n\n

      The average consumption of PBMA-EXTRA<\/strong> bentonite for HDD drilling, depending on the type of soil, is 25\u201330 kg\/m3<\/sup>, and the consumption of PBM-ETALON<\/strong> is 20\u201325 kg\/m3<\/sup>. For example, preparation of a drilling fluid for HDD based on PBM-ETALON will take only 20 minutes, after which the specific funnel viscosity is 45 seconds.
