It is used as a impervious screen and for protection of buried parts of building structures against moisture, including for protection against penetration of contaminating substances into soil and groundwater. <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1021\" src=\"http:\/\/bentonit.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/1web.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-568\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Fig.1 \u2013 Structure of bentonite liner<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>The material consists of high-quality bentonite granules\/powder evenly distributed between the woven and non-woven polypropylene geotextile connected using needle-punching method.<\/p>\n\n<p>Geosynthetic clay liner BentIzol\u00ae and MASTERBENT\u00ae meet the requirements of GOST R 70090-2022 \u201cRolled geosynthetic bentonite materials for waterproofing. General technical conditions\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<p>GCLs have the following properties:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High waterproof properties: clay liners coefficient of permeability equal to 10<sup>-11<\/sup>\u201310<sup>-12<\/sup> m\/sec demonstrates super low water permeability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-healing in case of mechanical damage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High strength, resistant to tear, damage, soil shear and settlement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eco-friendliness: due to sorption properties of bentonite clay absorbing hydrocarbons, heavy metal cations and radioactive nuclides<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cost-effectiveness and easy to install:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>special preparation of the base and seams welding are no required;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>no limitations in terms of weather conditions, since the GCLs keep their flexibility at a temperature of up to -70\u00b0C <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Durability: the service life is comparable to this of the facility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"http:\/\/bentonit.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/2web.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-572\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Fig. 2 &#8211; Bentonite liner BentIzol\u00ae<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Application:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mining industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Landfills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hydraulic engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oil industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Power engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reclamation of contaminated territories<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Industrial and civil construction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transport construction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Geosynthetic clay liner is a rolled geosynthetic material design for waterproofing.
