Bentonite powder is dried and ground bentonite clay, which retains its colloidal-chemical properties. Bentonite powder has the ability to actively swell in contact with water forming visco-plastic suspensions. Due to these properties, bentonite powder is used as a binder in the technology of extrusion briquetting of metallurgical waste.
