Bentonite for civil engineering

Bentonite’s ability to form viscous and flowing solutions, its high thixotropy, water adsorption and high dispersibility, allow to use it:

• in the construction of tunnels, including metro tunnels;
• as part of the diaphragm wall technology;
• as an injection solution for repair and restoration of waterproofing of underground parts of buildings, prevention of migration of pollutants and arrangement of impervious screens;
• as part of injection and grouting mortars, which are effective for sealing cracks and filling voids;
• as a waterproofing barrier material for impervious screens.
