OCMA POWDER
OCMA bentonite powder is used to prepare drilling fluids complying with international quality standard ISO 13500.
OCMA bentonite specific surface is so large that microflakes contained in 1 kg of the product can cover about 70 football fields.

SPECIAL APPLICATION BENTONITE PBMA-EXTRA AND PBM-ETALON
Manufactured according to TU 08.12.22-19-41219638-2016 and TU 08.12.22-021-41219638-2017.
Advantages: used for preparing drilling fluid based on mineralized (including sea) and salt-saturated process water, does not require special water treatment.
PBMA-EXTRA
- has the ability to disperse in an aqueous phase with high ionic strength;
- is produced using natural raw materials without synthetic polymers and salts of heavy multi-charged cations;
- is used for drilling wells in deposits of rock salt and chemogenic rocks.
PBM-ETALON:
- ensures the stability of the well walls and reinforces them with a strong and elastic filter cake;
- is used as a mineral ultra-dispersed base for drilling fluids with unprecedentedly high structural-mechanical and rheological characteristics in combination with high stability;
- has an ultra-low filtration rate;
- used in various aggressive environments.

When using special bentonites, preparation of drilling fluid does not require water treatment (to soften the water).
PBMA-EXTRA and PBM-ETALON are successfully used both in oil and gas drilling, and also in construction. The key factor is the possibility of using bentonite at a reduced suspension concentration of 2–3%! When drilling engineering wells using the HDD method and performing other construction work, the use of bentonites of PBMA-EXTRA and PBM-ETALON brands allows replacing expensive mixtures and preserve the quality of the work performed.
The average consumption of PBMA-EXTRA bentonite for HDD drilling, depending on the type of soil, is 25–30 kg/m3, and the consumption of PBM-ETALON is 20–25 kg/m3. For example, preparation of a drilling fluid for HDD based on PBM-ETALON will take only 20 minutes, after which the specific funnel viscosity is 45 seconds. PBMA-EXTRA is compatible with any polymer reagents traditionally used in HDD to regulate the flush liquid properties, while PBM-ETALON does not require any additional treatment of the flush liquid, i.e. it is an “all-in-one-bag” mixture.
