Bentonite cord BentIzol®
Bentonite cord is a profiled waterproofing material in the form of a round or rectangular profile bundle of various sizes. Due to its composition, it has high adhesion to concrete, metal and plastic.
Bentonite cord Bentizol® is made according to a unique formula and complies with international stadards.
When hydrated, it increases in volume up to 200%, providing sealing of concreting joints, holes and other places where water tends to penetrate.
Due to the high quality bentonite and functional additives in its composition, bentonite cord has the following properties:
- high waterproofing properties
- high swelling ability
- good flexibility
– ability to turn by 180°
– tightly adheres to the foundation - retains its properties throughout its entire service life
- withstands an unlimited number of ‘hydration-dehydration’ cycles
- cost-effective: fast and easy to install
- temperature range:
– -15°C to +50°C during installation
– no restrictions during operation - excellent adhesion of the material to itself and to mounting surfaces (concrete, metal and plastic).
